Preceptor Development Program

Further your leadership experience

Preceptors play an important role at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s College of Pharmacy. Not only do they teach students the skills required in order to provide excellent pharmacy care, they’re also mentors. In their mentoring roles, they support students by providing feedback and sharing knowledge that aids the student in their work.

Those who wish to take on a role as a preceptor should consider participating in one of our Practice Experience Programs (PEP). For more information, see Related Resources.

As a pharmacist preceptor affiliated with our Practice Experience Programs (PEP), you are welcome to apply for adjunct professor status if:

  • you have completed a recognized online program
  • you are currently an active preceptor on record (meaning you have completed a preceptor application form for at least one PEP rotation in the past 2 years)
  • you have completed the required application forms.
