The minor in Animal Agriculture will enable students in majors other than Animal Science to learn more about how we raise and care for livestock, including the science behind good animal practice.

What you will learn

Students will gain an appreciation for the businesses and industries that support the healthy rearing of farm animals. They will have an opportunity to explore the biology of farm animals, as well as socio-economic concerns such as regulatory frameworks, animal welfare, and environmental impacts of raising animals.Ìý
