Located on South Street in Halifax, is ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's primary fitness and recreation centre. It features a recently opened, climate-controlled fitness centre with brand new cardio and strength-training equipment and ample natural light, four studios with over 35 weekly drop-in fitness classes, a high performance training room and new men’s/women’s/universal locker rooms. Dalplex members and Dal students also get access to the newly renovated fieldhouse, complete with 44,000 square feet of brand new hardwood flooring, to play basketball, volleyball, badminton, or pickleball, or walk/run on the 1/6-mile indoor track. Additional facilities include: a new spin studio, the 8-lane, 50m indoor pool, squash (5) and racquetball (1) courts, an outdoor turf field, table tennis tables (3), outdoor tennis courts (2, seasonal), climbing walls (2), and additional locker rooms (3) on the level closer to the pool.
