What are you most looking forward to when speaking with alumni this semester?
I'm eager not just to learn about their time at Dalhousie, but also to inform them about the latest advancements and improvements happening at the university. Whether it's the program for BIPOC students launched last year or the recent achievements of the Employment Equity Plan.

Why did you choose Dalhousie?
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø has one of the most vibrant communities of students which made me want to apply for my favourite course. Apart from the strong community, the university offers co-op opportunities which helps students to network and receive good opportunities in their professional context.

What are you most looking forward to when speaking with alumni this semester?
I’m eager to connect with alumni and hear their inspiring journeys to success. I’m especially excited to engage with those who graduated from the BEng program, sharing insights and discussing how the program has evolved over the years. It will be a great opportunity to bond over our shared experiences and the transformative changes that time has brought!

What motivated you to join Dal’s Digital Engagement Centre?
This experience will provide me with the opportunity to make a positive impact on Dalhousie’s community by allowing me to contribute to fundraising projects. I also enjoy the work culture and the respectful, inclusive work environment here!

Why did you choose Dalhousie?
The program that I always wanted to study was provided by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøalong with many other universities, but the decision to choose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøcame along by seeing the inclusion of students in co-curricular activities and the great alumni!

What are you most looking forward to when speaking with alumni this semester?
I’m excited to chat with alumni and hear about their journeys after Dalhousie, especially those who went into business and finance. I think their stories and advice will be incredibly helpful as I start thinking about my own career path after graduation.

What’s been your most memorable Dal experience so far?
My most memorable experience is meeting new people in residence and learning about different cultures and traditions I hadn’t been exposed to before. I have met some of my best, long-term friends in residence at Dalhousie, who I most likely wouldn’t have met otherwise.

Why did you choose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø?
I chose ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøbecause it has a unique program, Master of Digital Innovation, which is an interdisciplinary program that brings together business, computer science and law. Also, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøhas a diverse learning environment which allows me to engage with brilliant professionals and faculty from all over the world. This gives me the chance to build relationships with professionals in the classroom and beyond.

I am passionate about connecting with people. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with alumni, learn from their experiences, and contribute to the university’s growth through fundraising. I’m eager to develop my communication skills further and give back to the university community that has given me so much.

I am eager to connect with them and learn about their experiences after Dal, especially about material they would like to share with current students. I would also like to identify the resources, student clubs, and activities that geared them up for success during their time at Dal. I can’t wait to hear from them.

What’s been your most memorable Dal experience so far?
My orientation day as it was my first time in an international country. I was excited and a bit nervous. Meeting people from diverse backgrounds, each with their own ambitions and perspectives, was truly inspiring. I made a lot of meaningful connections that day and gained valuable insights into different cultures and ideas. It really set the tone for my time at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøand helped me feel more at home in this new environment.
