With over 4,000 undergraduate students, we are the largest faculty on campus. We have over 200 world class faculty members, many of whom have won national and international awards for excellence in teaching and research, and rank in the top 5 in Canada for research achievements. 

Most students will enter their first year enrolled in a general BSc. A general BSc is a bachelor’s degree with specialization in a certain area of science. This degree usually takes 3-5 years with most students declaring a major towards the end of their first year.
