Master of Public Administration
The Master of Public Administration Program is Atlantic Canada’s only MPA program offering a paid work experience. Dalhousie’s MPA program equips students with management skills and an understanding of the structure, processes, and policies of government, its public agencies, and consulting firms that work in or with the public sector.
As a CAPPA (Canadian Association of Programs in Public Administration) accredited program, our courses are linked to CAPPA’s five key student competencies relating to critical thinking, leadership, engagement, ethics, and communication.
MPA students are available for 14- to 16-week paid internships starting in May. For information on MPA student qualifications, compensation, program schedule, and work term criteria, consult our .
