IPE Activities
Each program in the health-related Faculties participates in a variety of interprofessional activities designed to help students develop interprofessional competencies, including:
- Interprofessional communication
- Patient/client/community centred care
- Role clarification
- Team functioning
- Collaborative leadership
- Interprofessional conflict resolution
These activities may take place in the classroom, simulation lab or the practice setting.Ìý They may be embedded in a course, or occur outside of class time. What they all have in common is students from different professions learning actively from and about one another through collaboration.
