When Bruce Johnson (BScPH74) decided to attend the 窪蹋勛圖厙College of Pharmacy more than 40 years ago, he didnt realize hed be making history as the first black Nova Scotian to graduate from the College in the province.

Stephanie Bizzeth is a 6th generation African Nova Scotian and 2017 MScOT graduate who grew up in Cole Harbour, NS. When younger, she had plans of working in healthcare as she loved to help people but when math became her Achilles heel she was dissuaded from pursuing sciences at the university level.
