Queena Crooker‑Smith
Director, Finance and Administration
Ms Crooker-Smith started in her new position today and is excited to be joining the Faculty of Agriculture. She has been with ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø since 2002 and has enjoyed a varied career which has allowed her to get a better understanding of the University as a whole. She started in the Facilities Management Department as Work Order and Accounts Receivable Clerk, then moved on to Financial Services where she was part of the Research and Special Purpose Accounts team and worked primarily with ACOA accounts. From there she has also worked in the Deans Office of the Faculty of Engineering and most recently as Administrator for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Ms Crooker-Smith’s interest in the Faculty of Agriculture is also a personal one. As a 4-H member, leader and Provincial Council member she was a frequent visitor to this campus and always looked forward to any time spent here. Coming from a farming community and having run a small hobby farm, she hopes that her background from both personal and professional experience will be of benefit as the Director, Finance and Administration for the Faculty of Agriculture.
