Videography for Teaching and Learning


Dalhousie’s Centre for Learning and Teaching offers videography services to help support instructors and programs in the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and accessible content delivery for learners.

How can we support you?

Content Creation

  • High-quality video recording and production of videos to support course instruction and student learning
  • Recording interviews of guest speakers, faculty, and students to be used as part of course and learning materials
  • Off-site videos of important locations, e.g. tours of facilities and field locationsÌý
  • Consultation on videography techniques, tools, and best practices for video use in teaching and learning

Audio recording

  • We offer audio and podcast services for content that is enhanced by an audio format. For example, you may want to create an audio series to support student’s study strategies or create audio recordings of important content or work.

Editing and Accessibility

  • Post-production editing to enhance video quality (content, clarity) and accessibility (e.g. audio descriptions)
  • Integration of graphics
