The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUrban Garden Society (DUGS)
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUrban Garden is located behind the Computer Science Building on Dalhousie’s Studley campus.Â
The garden operates as an educational space for students, staff, and community members to learn about the possibilities of urban agriculture, with the produce going to volunteers and the Loaded Ladle. The garden boasts several styles of gardening ranging from traditional vegetable to permaculture forest.
The garden started in 2013 as part of the decommissioning of SEEMORE Green in 2010. It is funded by a student levy and run by the DUGS.
To get involved, check out DUGS on or e-mail them at dalhousieurbangarden@gmail.com.
