ARDC Director Call for Applications

The Office of the Vice-President, Research and Innovation invites applications for the position of Academic Director of the Atlantic Research Data Centre (ARDC) for a 5-year term appointment.  

The Academic Director leads and oversees the operation of the Centre’s service provision including finance, IT, and the development of outreach programs, and may lead the national conference of the CRCDN once during the 5-year term. The Director is also responsible for communicating with various stakeholders including academic colleagues, users, staff members, VPs and AVPs at Atlantic Universities, and Stats Canada / CRDCN.  

Qualifications:

The Academic Director will be an active researcher and a member of the Professoriate at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, with a thorough knowledge of the Atlantic Research Data Centre and its programs and resources.

The appointment will be for a 5-year term effective July 1, 2022. The director will receive a 3-credit hour course buyout for each year of the appointment.

The Search Committee includes: Shaun Boe (Assoc. Dean Research, Faculty of Health), Julie Marcoux (Data Librarian, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø), Adam Sarty (Associate Vice-President Research, Saint Mary’s University), and Jennifer Bain (Associate Vice President Research, Dalhousie) as Chair.
