Are you part of a faculty or administrative department/unit on campus and are looking for some help funding your next workplace wellness project?
The Workplace Wellness Grants Program can provide up to $5,000 funding to a department or faculty to promote workplace wellness through initiatives such as activities, events, projects, and applied research.
To be considered for selection, your submission must follow these guidelines:
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Promotes one or more of the seven dimensions of wellness: environmental, intellectual, mental/emotional, physical, interpersonal, spiritual, workload management
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Has a clear rationale and objectives, including clearly explained methodology, with expected outcomes well-defined
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Outlines an evaluation process
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Explains how the project benefits will continue beyond the grant period
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Contains a budget that is appropriate and justified, with an explanation of associated costs
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Benefits a significant number of employees at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍødirectly or indirectly
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Is endorsed by the appropriate administrative head of the unit.

Submissions are invited for projects that benefit a team/unit (maximum $1000); benefit a school/department/faculty (maximum $2,000); or benefit across departments or faculties (maximum $5,000).
The deadline to apply for a Workplace Wellness Grant is February 20, 4:30 p.m. Please send your submissions to healthy@dal.ca or drop them off to Janice MacInnis, Manager, Organizational Health, Room 150, Henry Hicks Building.
Each submission will be assessed by the Healthy Workplace Collaborative and the Project Lead for each submission will be contacted.
