POSITION: Marker (January 209 – April 2019)

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Bachelor of Management / Faculty of Management

PAY RATE: $16.28 hour (approx. 20 hours)

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The marker will assist with the following course: Commerce 1102 – Intro Managerial Accounting (2 positions available)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Marking assignments, quizzes, midterms and final exams if required

General administration and assisting with invigilation of midterms

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: To have experience, or strong interest in Marking. To have a Strong Academic Record and Extra Curricular Activities. To have completed either the Comm 1102/Mgmt. 2102 Courses with an A- or better. To be well organized. In addition to marking assignments and exams, the marker may be required to meet with instructor and/or students (meetings with students are optional).

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The marker will assist with Mgmt. 3320 Organizational Theory, Change and Design.

• Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Marking assignments and tests

• General administration

• Proctor exams

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

You should have completed or be enrolled in a Master’s program. Excellent command of the English language is required as correct grammatical usage and spelling are items to be marked in selected assignments.

** Preference will be given to those who have taken higher level courses in Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Theory and Design, or related subjects.
