Student Ratings of Instruction are one component of the teaching evaluation process for faculty and instructors, and serve an important formative and summative purpose. This lunch and learn will provide an opportunity for faculty to learn about the current state of the SRI process across campus, explore the opportunities to personalize the evaluation to meet their own formative needs, as well as to learn about the changes to the SRI process that have been implemented in the past year (particularly related to enhanced statistics provided on the SRI reports). It will provide an opportunity for faculty to ask questions about the use and interpretation of the SRI results, and to discuss the faculty opt in process to make the results available to students in future terms. Finally, the Lunch and Learn will provide an opportunity to discuss some of the proposed changes to the SRI policy currently being considered by Senate for the SRI process in future years.
