Trudeau mandates Justice Minister to move forward on conversion therapy ban
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has mandated that Justice Minister David Lametti move forward with a bill that would ban conversion therapy in Canada. Dr. Jacqueline Gahagan is available to discuss what conversion therapy is, the harm it causes and the significance of the bill moving forward.

Visa information hacked at gas pumps
It has come to light that people’s visa card information has been successfully hacked on two recent occasions at gas stations throughout North America. Dr. Nur Zincir-Heywood is available to discuss how this could have happened, what businesses can do to protect their client’s privacy and how individuals can protect their own information.

Danforth shooting victims file class-action lawsuit against gun maker
Victims of the 2018 mass shooting in Toronto’s Danforth area have filed a class-action lawsuit against the manufacturer of the weapon used in the shooting. The suit alleges that manufacturer Smith & Wesson, neglected to include “smart gun” technology in the handgun that was used in the attack. Wayne MacKay is available to provide comment on this case and the responsibility gun manufactures have when a gun is used in an unauthorized and unlawful manner.
