With hurricane Dorian set hit the Maritimes tomorrow, many people are starting to prepare for power outages, closures and damage to various infrastructures. Dr. Kevin Quigley is available to provide comment on emergency preparedness and what role local and federal governments play when anticipating a natural disaster like hurricane Dorian. He can also offer perspective on what can be done to minimize the severity of the impacts caused by the storm.

The importance of international relief and humanitarian assistance
In the wake of hurricane Dorian causing devastating destruction in the Bahamas and now hitting areas of the US, many countries and humanitarian aid organizations are offering support to help those impacted rebuild. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøhas experts available to provide comment on the significance of international aid form governments, NGOs and humanitarian aid organizations when tragedies such as Hurricane Dorian occur.
