ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøcontinues to place in the top 100 universities in the world for studying law according to the 2024 .
The ranking placed Dal in 100th place for Law out of a pool of 329 ranked universities. Last year, only 290 schools were ranked. In Canada, Dal now sits at 7th place for its Law program.Â
The university moved into the top 175 globally for the subject of Psychology. The rankings for Clinical & Health and Life Sciences both placed ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøin the top 250.
THE’s subject rankings use the same performance indicators as their World University Rankings, with a slight recalibration to suit each discipline. They cover arts and humanities, business and economics, clinical and health, computer science, education, engineering, law, life sciences, physical sciences, psychology, and social sciences.

To determine the ranking, THE looks at strength in Teaching; Research volume, income and reputation; Citations; International outlook; and Industry income.
This year, five territories — the US, UK, Hong Kong, China, and Canada —feature in the top 10 of the 2024 edition, up from just three in the 2020 edition. Meanwhile, six new countries have joined the top 100: Austria, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, Spain, and Turkey.

ShanghaiRanking is expected to release the Global Rankings of Academic Subjects in late October.
