Lucy Glen-Carter, Volleyball
Fourth-year outside hitter Lucy Glen-Carter is this week’s female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Lucy led the Tigers to a win over the weekend.
She recorded 26 kills and 20 digs in the Tigers 3-2 win over the Saint Mary’s Huskies Saturday night at the Homburg Centre.
Lucy also added a service ace and block assist for 27.5 points in the match. She currently leads the country in kills per set with 5.36.
An MSc. Physiotherapy student, Lucy is from Toronto, Ont.

Nginyu Ngala, Basketball
Second-year guard Nginyu Ngala is this week’s male PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
Nginyu led the Tigers to a win in their first regular season game at home.
He scored 21 points in the Tigers 91-60 win over the visiting Saint Mary’s Huskies Saturday night and added five assists, three rebounds and two steals to be named the Subway Player of the Game.
Nginyu also scored 14 points and had five rebounds in their Thursday night loss to the Huskies at the Homburg Centre.
A native of Montreal Q.C., Nginyu is a management student.
