Macayla Cullen, Track & Field
Fourth-year jumper Macayla Cullen is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.
Macayla helped the Tigers to a fourth-place team finish at the McGill Team Challenge this past weekend.
The top U Sports athlete in the women's high jump, Macayla jumped a new personal best of 1.69m.
A science student, Macayla is from Stellarton, N.S.

Ritchie Kanza Mata, Basketball
Fifth-year guard Ritchie Kanza Mata is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.
Ritchie led the Tigers to two-straight victories on the road this past weekend, averaging 24.5 points and eight assists.
In Friday’s 85-67 win over the Cape Breton Capers, he had 17 points and eight assists. He was hot again on Saturday, scoring a career-high 32 points to lead the Tigers to a 73-70 win over the Capers. He also had nine assists in the game.
Ritchie recently set a new AUS career assists record, previously set in 1995.
A native of Toronto, O.N., Ritchie is an arts and social sciences student.
