Mieke DuMont, Volleyball
Second-year left side hitter Mieke DuMont is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.
Mieke led the Tigers to a 4-0 record at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøWomen’s Volleyball Invitational over the weekend. She recorded 46 kills in the event, averaging 3.2 kills per set. She also had 35 digs, six aces and two blocks and was named the tournament MVP.
A kinesiology student, Mieke is from Kamloops, B.C.

Bezick Evraire, Soccer
Fifth-year midfielder Bezick Evraire is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.
Bezick scored three of the Tigers four goals over the weekend, leading the Tigers to a win and a tie.
He scored two goals in the Tigers 2-0 victory over the Saint Mary’s Huskies Friday night and notched the first goal of the game in Saturday’s 2-2 tie with the Memorial Sea-Hawks. Bezick had six shots on goal over the weekend and is averaging 2.83 shots on goal per game so far this season.
His three goals move his regular season total to eight, tying him for first in the AUS scoring race.
A native of Ottawa, O.N., Bezick is an arts student.
