Information Technology Services (ITS) is inviting the ϳԹcommunity to help inform the future of digital communication and collaboration tools on campus.

After several months of discussion within ITS and with ϳԹstakeholders about possible solutions, two have been submitted through a request-for-proposal and are being vetted by the university. These tools will be used to enhance collaboration and support teaching, learning and research. The two solutions are Google Apps for Education and Microsoft Office 365.

“We’re asking the vendors involved to come to campus, show what the respective products can accomplish and help us determine if either is an ideal fit for Dalhousie,” says Dwight Fischer, assistant vice-president of ITS. “We want as many people as possible to attend, hear what these vendors have to say and offer feedback to help us make our decision.”

The two consultation sessions will be held in the Potter Auditorium of the Rowe Management Building on Monday and Tuesday afternoon next week.
