The Dawson geological Club (named after one of Canada's first and foremost scientists) is composed of graduate and undergraduate students interested in the geological sciences in its entity. The club is closely affiliated with the Geology Department at Dalhousie. Members this year attended geological seminars given by distinguished lecturers. The club has seen a surge in interest this year and activities included films, tours and parties. At the Maritime Geological Conference held at Acadia, the club had a large and very active representation. The Dawson Geology Club was mainly responsible for erecting and conducting the successful display put on in the Geology Department for the 1965 Open House at Dalhousie.
