The Dawson Geological Club is an organization to encourage an interest in Geology.
The club has a large and interested membership of both students and others outside the
University who have contributed to making this year one of the most successful in its
history. During the pre-christmas term two very instructive field trips were enjoyed
by the members, one to the Gypsum quarries near Windsor, the other to the Acadia iron
mines at Londonderry. Since the field season is short, meetings have been given by
Mr. J. O. Bower, Dr. C. C. Coffin, Dr. G. H. Henderson, Prof. G. V. Douglas. Several
Meetings have been open to all interested in the subjects under discussion.
