Soccer Â
Both me²Ô’s and wome²Ô’s soccer teams held pre-season training camps and competition this weekend – Aug 31 – Sept 4.  The women held a modified round robin event on Sunday with DAL AC, UKC and CU participating. Results were:
DAL AC 1 – UKC  0; CU 1 - UKC 1; DAL AC 4 CU 2  Sian Rankin scored all 4 goals.Â
The men played UKC  on Monday . The score was 3-0 for UKC. Both teams showed great promise for the season!
As part of the pre-season responsibilities for the soccer teams, members of the me²Ô’s and wome²Ô’s soccer teams delivered Campus Calendars to sections of the Bible Hill community Monday evening. This is the second year for this collaboration with DAL AC Communication and Marketing staff. Â
Another community interaction was held involving the wome²Ô’s soccer team and the CC Riders U 13 team. The  Riders participated with the Rams in a mini training session  , skills tests and a scrimmage. There is good talent being developed by the CC Riders Club
Rugby
The wome²Ô’s team held pre-season training starting on Aug 31 as well. We are still recruiting for players among the student body , as we presently do not have enough players to field a team Stay tuned…

Fitness
Noon fitness has begun M-W-F; sign up through Josh at 893-6660 or josh.mackinnon@dal.ca New participants always welcome. Any level of fitness is acceptable, as all activities can be modified to the individual’s level.
Evening classes for students will begin next week. Monday – YOGA, Tuesday – Pound, Thursday Kickboxing. These classes are free for DAL AC Students and staff can participate by paying a drop in fee. Contact is Josh at 893-6660 or josh.mackinnon@dal.ca
Free Wheeli²Ô’
The bike loan program is active this fall (until winter conditions) and is available for a deposit of $20 for students (which is returned when the bike , helmet, lock is returned in good condition) Staff may also use the bikes for a rental fee of $5.00.(max half day)
