Sarah Dela Cruz (BA'18, MPA'21) moved to Prince Edward Island from the Philippines when she was 14. She is a proud granddaughter of one of the Filipino pioneers on P.E.I. She is the first in her family to pursue higher education. Often the only Filipino in her class, Dela Cruz rose above barriers and racism to achieve success. She now works in the Department of National Defence as a policy analyst.
